Job summary

Thiess Mount Pleasant Operation is seeking Haul Truck and Multi-Skilled Operators with open cut experience and refined operating skills in Heavy Earthmoving equipment including Cat 793 Haul Trucks, Komatsu 930, D10/ D11 Dozers, 16 & 24 Graders, 994 Loaders, 777 water cart. Work on rotating lifestyle roster 5/4 4/5 5/5 with day, night and weekend shifts.

You will be part of a high-performance team, with a commitment to safety, environmental standards and ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Proven abilities in operating heavy earth moving machinery in a mining environment.
• Current RPL/ competencies to reflect your skill-set to be provided at interview.
• Good communication skills with the willingness to be part of a high-performance team.
• Commitment to the highest safety, community and environmental standards.
• Experience in operating large heavy plant.
• Initiative and a flexible approach to work, with a proactive mindset.
• Ability to work to direction and be self motivated.
