Job summary

Thiess is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Operator (Excavator) at Curragh North to operate excavators and allied equipment, supporting safe, productive mining operations. You will work within a 7/7 DN roster, contributing to on-site production targets with a strong safety focus.

Ideal candidates will have at least 12 months of excavator experience, a current Standard 11, and a valid driver's licence, plus a proactive team-driven attitude for reliable performance.

Qualifications

• 12 months' experience operating excavators and/or ancillary equipment in open cut coal mining.
• Verified machinery skills list signed by an SSE or delegate.
• Current Standard 11.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• A proactive attitude and ability to work reliably as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators and ancillary equipment safely and efficiently to achieve production targets.
• Maintain a strong commitment to Thiess' safety culture, procedures, and operational standards.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to deliver safe, reliable, and productive mining operations.
