Job summary

Golding Contractors seeks an experienced Heavy Duty Tyre Fitter to support the Curragh Mine maintenance team near Blackwater, Queensland. This long-term, permanent role offers stable employment in a safety-first culture.

Applicants should hold RII Tyre Fitting and Test/Move Mobile Equipment, a current Drivers Licence, and Standard 11. CAT/Hitachi/Komatsu experience is highly regarded; shift work rotates on a 7/7 roster with DIDO and camp accommodations.

Qualifications

• HD Tyre Fitter with site experience and safety focus.
• RII for Tyre Fitting and Test and Move Mobile Equipment.
• Current licences and certifications (Standard 11, Drivers Licence).
• Experience with CAT, Hitachi and Komatsu equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain tyres and operate tyre fitting duties at Curragh Mine.
• Work with maintenance team to ensure safe, productive operation.
• Adhere to site safety systems and roaster (7/7, day/night).
• DIDO and camp accommodation provided; opportunities for training.

Having recently received a 5 YEAR extension to our contract and the award of a 7th Fleet on site, we are seeking a Heavy Duty Tyre Fitter to work with the maintenance team at the Curragh Mine, located near Blackwater.

If you’re an experienced HD Tyre Fitter with an excellent work ethic, attitude and safety conscious approach, then we want to talk to you.
