Job summary

Golding is seeking an experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Fitter to join the Maintenance team at Jellinbah Mine, near Blackwater. This role focuses on safety, reliability, and performance of mining equipment in a production environment.

The successful candidate will work in a small team, apply hands-on skills, and contribute to continuous improvement while maintaining a proactive approach to maintenance and safety.

Qualifications

• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate.
• Proven heavy mobile earthmoving equipment experience in production mining.
• Experience with Caterpillar equipment desirable.
• Experience with CAT 6060 and Hitachi 5600 excavators desirable.
• Ability to pass Coal Board Medical, Functional Capacity and Drug & Alcohol screen.
• Current Drivers Licence and Standard 11.
• Capacity to work in a team with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of SAP desirable.

Golding are currently seeking experiencedHeavy-Duty Diesel Fitter to become part of our Maintenance team at Jellinbah Mine, situated near Blackwater. The individuals we hire will hold a pivotal position in guaranteeing the safety, effectiveness, and dependability of our operations.

The successful candidate will have the ability to apply learnt skills in a small, tight knit team whilst learning new ones on the way. They will have a hands on and proactive approach with the ability to think on their feet.

Role Requirements:

• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
• Proven heavy mobile earthmoving equipment experience in a production mining environment
• Experience with Caterpillar equipment highly desirable
• Experience with CAT 6060 & Hitachi 5600 Excavators highly desirable
• Capacity to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of SAP highly desirable
• Excellent attitude towards safety and commitment to zero-harm
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Current Drivers Licence
• Current Standard 11
• Ability to pass Coal Board Medical, Functional Capacity Assessment and Drug & Alcohol screen
• Proven heavy mobile earthmoving equipment experience in a production mining environment
