GOLD FIELDS is seeking an experienced Underground HD Fitter to join the Mobile Maintenance team at Agnew Gold Mine in Western Australia. The role focuses on maintaining fleet performance, executing PM schedules, inspections and corrective maintenance for underground mining equipment from major brands.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised Heavy Mechanical Trade Qualification.
• Automotive Air Conditioning license is desirable.
• High Risk Licence - Forklift, EWP, Basic Rigging and Dogging.
• Valid WA Manual Driver's Licence at minimum (or Australian equivalent).
• Solid track record executing PM schedules, daily equipment inspections, and corrective maintenance for breakdowns.
• Hands-on experience with underground mining equipment and technologies, including brands Epiroc, CAT, Sandvik and Volvo.
• Experience with SAP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Join Mobile Maintenance team and maintain fleet performance.
• Execute PM schedules, daily equipment inspections, and corrective maintenance for breakdowns.
• Support underground mining equipment maintenance and operations.
• Contribute to asset reliability and uptime in a long‑life operations environment.
