Job summary

Stabilised Pavements Australia is seeking a Diesel Mechanic Apprentice at our Somersby depot in New South Wales. This full-time role offers a hands-on path to a nationally recognised trade qualification while you learn on the job.

You will assist with maintenance, servicing and repair of heavy machinery, learn to use a wide range of tools, and support fitters with workshop and field tasks in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in mechanics and working with your hands.
• Willingness to learn and commit to completing a trade qualification.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and positive attitude.
• Driver's licence (provisional is fine).

Responsibilities

• Assisting with maintenance, servicing and repair of heavy machinery.
• Learning to use a wide range of tools and equipment.
• Supporting fitters with day-to-day workshop and field tasks.
