Transport for NSW invites applicants to join the Heavy Diesel Mechanic Apprenticeship starting March 2027 in Yennora. This 4-year fixed-term, full-time program blends paid work with structured training to earn a nationally recognised heavy vehicle mechanic qualification.

No prior experience is required. Australian/NZ citizens or permanent residents who have Year 10 or RoSA, and a C Class licence or are obtaining one, can apply. Transport to site is expected, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Australian or New Zealand citizen, or Australian permanent resident.
• Year 10 or RoSA (or equivalent) completed.
• Ready to commence full-time employment in March 2027.
• Hold, or be in the process of obtaining, a C Class driver licence.
• Access to reliable transport to travel to the office or depot.
