Job summary

Cleanaway is seeking experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanics at the Worsley workshop to inspect, diagnose, service and repair Vacuum loading trucks and related equipment.

You’ll work on-site with a hands-on team in a fast-paced environment. An unrestricted HR license with 1–2 years of experience, a trade qualification in heavy vehicle mechanics, and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted HR license (minimum) with 1-2 years of experience.
• Experience in the waste industry is advantageous.
• Relevant trade qualification in heavy vehicle mechanics.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Experience with fleet maintenance and running repairs.
• Professional presentation, strong customer service skills.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, service and repair Vacuum loading trucks and related equipment.
• Perform running repairs and preventive maintenance to fleet.
