Job summary

Cleanaway, Australia’s leader in sustainable waste management, seeks experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanics for the Worsley workshop. You will inspect, diagnose, service and repair Vacuum loading trucks, yellow gear and descale equipment, on a local 7/7 roster (5:30 AM – 5:30 PM) with a competitive hourly rate of $70.

To succeed you’ll hold an unrestricted HR license (min) with 1–2 years’ experience and a relevant heavy-vehicle trade qualification; fleet maintenance and safety focus are

Qualifications

• Unrestricted HR license (minimum) with 1–2 years of experience.
• Trade qualification in heavy vehicle mechanics.
• Experience in the waste industry is advantageous.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Experience with fleet maintenance and running repairs.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, service and repair Vacuum loading trucks and related equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Perform routine maintenance on fleet vehicles and descale equipment as required.
• Work with the safety-focused team to uphold HSE standards.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanics to join our Worsley workshop, where you can enjoy competitive benefits and a dynamic environment. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, servicing, and performing repairs on Vacuum loading trucks, yellow gear and descale equipment.
