Job summary

Emeco is expanding at Rolleston, Queensland, and we’re hiring experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join a new site and team. You’ll work with CAT 777F, D10, EX1200, 16M, and 777 equipment, diagnosing faults and performing maintenance with a safety-first mindset.

You must hold an Australian Heavy Diesel trade qualification and mining experience. The role offers a 7/7 day shift, on-site meals and accommodation, and a 5k refer-a-mate bonus, with earnings up to 190k per year.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised Heavy Diesel trade qualification.
• Mining experience with large-scale equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Licence and ability to pass pre-employment medical and National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and complete planned, breakdown and preventative maintenance.
• Carry out high-quality repairs while identifying potential issues before failure.
• Work autonomously while supporting the team and maintaining strong safety standards.
• Take ownership of work and accurately complete maintenance records.

Emeco is expanding at Rolleston, located approximately 3½ hours from Rockhampton, and we’re looking for experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join us as we establish a new site and team.

About the Role

• Working on fleet of CAT 777F Trucks, D10 Dozers, EX1200 Diggers, 16M Graders and 777 Watercart
• Diagnosing faults and completing planned, breakdown and preventative maintenance.
• Carrying out high-quality repairs while identifying potential issues before failure.
• Working autonomously while supporting the team and maintaining strong safety standards.
• Taking ownership of your work and accurately completing maintenance records.

What We’re Looking For

• Australian recognised Heavy Diesel trade qualification and relevant mining experience.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills across large-scale mining equipment.
• Ability to work autonomously, make sound decisions and take ownership of your work.Safety-first mindset with a strong focus on quality workmanship and teamwork.
