Job summary

Bupa Australia is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to translate complex clinical, operational and technology requirements into clear processes and practical solutions. Based in Sydney or Melbourne, you will collaborate with stakeholders across operations, workforce and IT to deliver measurable improvements in service delivery.

This 6-month fixed-term contract offers the chance to shape the future of healthcare delivery, with a focus on governance, risk, testing and documentation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Business Analyst in a complex, regulated or government service environment, ideally healthcare, Defence or outsourced delivery.
• Demonstrated experience in business requirements gathering, process mapping, service design and business improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting large-scale transformation, transition or implementation programs involving multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Map current and future state business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and addressing process and control gaps.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, subcontractors to validate requirements and proposed solutions.
• Analyse business data, operational processes and system requirements to support informed decision-making and service delivery improvements.
• Maintain requirements documentation, risk and issue registers, and support program governance and reporting activities.
• Translate business requirements into test cases and acceptance criteria, supporting user acceptance testing and implementation activities.
• Support change impact assessments, stakeholder workshops and the development of business documentation, including procedures, process maps and user guides.
