Job summary

Gold Coast Health is seeking a Protective Services Supervisor to lead a security team at the Gold Coast health facilities. The role focuses on maintaining high professional standards while guiding security officers and coordinating responses to incidents.

You will mentor staff, oversee performance appraisals, and support emergency response activities as required. The position is full-time and located on the Gold Coast campus.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising Security Officers and maintaining professional standards.
• Ability to facilitate training and develop subordinate staff.
• Experience reporting security incidents and identifying adverse trends for senior management.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, work with and motivate a team of security officers.
• Facilitate training for Security Officers in security processes.
• Ensure all shift security incidents are reported and trends are reported to management.
• Undertake performance appraisal and development of subordinate staff.
• Assist with emergency responses as directed.
