Job summary

Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital in Brisbane is seeking a proactive Workforce and Rostering Support Officer to deliver rostering, payroll administration, and workforce coordination for Medicine and Emergency services.

You will build complex medical rosters, manage attendance records and backfill shifts, while guiding staff through myHR and AVAC systems. A meticulous communicator with knowledge of industrial awards will fit well in our public health team.

Qualifications

• Experience in workforce coordination within regulated environments.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret industrial awards and HR policies.

Responsibilities

• Roster management: build, coordinate, and maintain complex rosters and on-call schedules.
• Payroll & compliance: manage time records, validate pay data, and ensure timely payroll submission.
• Leave & shortage coordination: manage unplanned leave and backfill shifts.
• System support & onboarding: guide staff with myHR and payroll systems.
