Job summary

St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne is seeking a Leadership, Learning & Development Coordinator to strengthen leadership capability across the organisation. You will design, coordinate and deliver learning initiatives that improve employee capability and performance in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Based at our Fitzroy campus with travel to other SVHM sites, you will lead leadership programs and coordinate the Workplace Trainer/Career Advisor workload while partnering with multiple stakeholders to

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications – A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Health Sciences, Education or a related discipline, or equivalent experience, together with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
• Learning and development expertise – Demonstrated experience facilitating learning and development initiatives, supported by confident presentation and facilitation skills.
• Leadership development experience – Experience designing, developing and delivering leadership programs, ideally within a healthcare environment.
• Stakeholder engagement – Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• A collaborative approach – The ability to influence, support and engage others in building a positive learning culture and achieving organisational objectives.
• Continuous improvement – Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and a commitment to evaluating and enhancing learning initiatives.
• Coaching and development – Experience coaching and supporting individuals to build capability and achieve their goals.
• Digital capability – Strong IT skills, including experience with database management.
• Instructional design – Experience in instructional design would be an advantage.
