Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) is seeking an Administrative Officer Reliever to support emergency, inpatient and ward teams in Adelaide CBD. You will help keep admin services running smoothly, balance workloads, and work closely with clinical teams to back safe, timely patient care.

Ideal candidates will have health admin experience, strong communication, and proficient use of Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Health admin experience with Microsoft Office tools.
• Clear written and verbal communication across diverse teams.
• Strong workload planning and prioritise tasks.
• Confident work solo or in team, calm under pressure.
• Sound admin knowledge, customer focus, respect confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Cover admin roles across ED, wards and business support
• Coordinate daily admin workloads and priorities
• Manage patient records, data and enquiries
• Liaise with nursing, clinical teams and patients
• Ensure accurate, timely admin support
