The St George Hospital - Day Medical Infusion Centre is seeking a Permanent Full Time Clinical Support Officer to provide timely, accurate administrative services for the healthcare team under the NUM. The role requires a Certificate III in Health Administration and strong communication, organisational, and team skills.

Applicants should be prepared to work under supervision with some independence and to manage a high-volume workload in a busy acute care environment.

Formación

• Holds or is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent or a combination of study and previous experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communications skills including accurate spelling, good comprehension and courteous interactions with people at all levels.
• Demonstrated experience in word processing, spreadsheet and database software.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise, work and meet deadlines.
• Capacity to work under broad supervision and undertake a diverse range of tasks in a high pressure, high volume environment.
• Ability to initiate tasks and work unsupervised.
• Demonstrated previous administration experience in an acute care facility.

Responsabilidades

• Provide timely and accurate administrative/transactional services for members of the healthcare team under the direction of the NUM.
• Work under broad supervision with some independent action and exercise initiative in applying established work practices.
• Support the work activities of the NUM and contribute to efficient unit management.
• Prioritise tasks and manage a diverse workload in a high-pressure setting.
