Job summary

MAYDAY Recruitment Group is partnering with a leading health insurer to appoint a Customer Service Consultant in Parramatta. You will deliver exceptional phone support to deepen loyalty and retention, handling inquiries with empathy and professionalism.

This full-time role is office-based with a hybrid path after training. You will join a supportive team, work standard hours, and contribute to service excellence while hitting key performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a busy customer focused environment.
• Experience in front office call centres, administrative or customer service role.
• Be available to commence employment 9th of November
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patience, clarity and empathy
• Ability to use tact, diplomacy and negotiating skills with difficult customers
• Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound calls from clients to address needs, complaints, or issues.
• Conduct quality conversations to uncover core reasons for discharging policy and seek retention outcomes.
• Utilise retention skills to turn disconnection requests into savings and preserve customer relationships.
• Participate in training and learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company and role.
• Meet or exceed all metrics and KPIs while delivering excellent customer service.
