Job summary

AMK AUSTRALIA PTY LTD trading as Essential carers is seeking a Health and Disability Services Manager to lead health-related and disability support services in Point Cook, VIC. The role requires coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring regulatory compliance to deliver high-quality outcomes.

The position is permanent full-time, based in Point Cook, 38 hours per week, with a salary of AU$85,000 per year plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in health services management or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in health services management or related environment.
• Experience managing service delivery operations and resources.
• Knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and regulatory obligations.
• Ability to develop operational policies and coordinate multidisciplinary service arrangements.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience budgeting and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and oversee health-related and disability service operations and set priorities.
• Coordinate care with nurses and allied health professionals for continuity of care.
• Develop, implement and review policies and service quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and safety regulations.
• Direct workforce planning, recruitment, staffing, and performance management.
• Prepare and monitor operational budgets and allocate resources.
• Establish performance indicators and drive improvement actions.
• Build relationships with providers, organisations and regulators.
• Oversee risk management and incident reporting.
• Prepare reports for senior management and identify service improvements.
• Contribute to planning and developing sustainable services.
