Job summary

The Agency for Clinical Innovation (ACI) in NSW seeks a Data and Statistical Analyst to provide sophisticated health data analysis and interpretation to inform a key strategic project. You will ensure analyses utilise relevant data sources and stakeholder considerations are integrated into decision-making.

The role focuses on complex statistical analysis, collaboration with clinicians and executives, and delivering actionable insights to improve health service delivery.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and demonstrated experience using R or statistical packages.
• Demonstrated high level analytical skills to undertake complex statistical analysis using multiple data sources. Knowledge of health-related datasets and their strengths and limitations.
• Ability to collaborate and negotiate with broad stakeholders, including clinicians and senior stakeholders, to design analyses that inform decisions regarding health service delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to interact, negotiate and work effectively with stakeholders and manage projects within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide sophisticated health data analysis and interpretation to inform key strategic projects of the ACI.
• Ensure analyses utilise relevant data sources and are stakeholder appropriate.
