Job summary

HCF Australia is seeking a Senior Business Insights Analyst to provide data support across our Private Health Insurance business. You will work with data scientists, data analysts and visualization specialists to deliver actionable insights and data products for value-based care and member growth.

You’ll translate business needs into analytics solutions, perform advanced analyses on memberships, claims, and KPIs, and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into insights.
• Experience querying and programming within business analytics context.
• Proficiency with SAS, including Data Step, Macro, Job Flows, CAS, data transformation.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and BI tools like Snowflake and Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into analytics solutions.
• Analyze membership, claims, revenue and KPIs to identify trends and insights.
• Conduct exploratory analysis to answer complex business questions.
• Deliver timely reports to support budgets, forecasts and performance metrics.
• Maintain data assets with testing and data quality controls.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Contribute to analytics projects and knowledge sharing across the team.
