Job summary

Harris Farm Markets is seeking a Store Leader to oversee operations in a fast-paced fresh-food environment. You will support the Store Manager by managing admin, rosters, back-office tasks and daily store performance to ensure a seamless customer experience.

We are looking for someone with proven retail leadership, a hands-on approach, strong communication, and the ability to drive sales and customer satisfaction while maintaining high standards across the store.

We are currently searching for our next superstar Store Leaders!

You support the Store Manager by owning the admin and compliance for the store. You roster most departments, keep the back-office ticking, and make sure the store runs smoothly so your Store Manager can lead from the front. You're the person everyone comes to when something needs sorting.

Responsibilities

• Leading and motivating teams to deliver outstanding service
• Driving sales, margin, stock control and labour performance
• Coaching and developing team members and future leaders
• Ensuring compliance with WHS, food safety and company standards
• Maintaining high visual, quality and presentation standards
• Running the store in the absence of the store manager

About You

We are looking for someone who loves food, with previous experience working in a fresh food retail business. Additionally, we are looking for someone with:

• Experience in retail leadership (supermarket, fresh food or specialty retail highly regarded)
• Customer-focused, hands-on and lead from the front
• Strong communicators who build trust and engagement
• Confident managing performance, change and operational priorities
• Commercially minded with a passion for continuous improvement
