Job summary

Harris Farm Markets is seeking a friendly Shop Assistant to help customers find what they need and keep the store looking fresh and abundant. No experience required—we’ll teach you everything.

Bring a positive attitude and a love for great fresh food, and you could grow with our family-owned Australian business. Responsibilities include stocking and rotating displays, maintaining back-of-house organization, and delivering on-floor customer service.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Physically capable of standing for long periods and performing manual handling.
• Team player with a strong work ethic.
• Flexible availability across a 7-day roster AM & PM shifts.

Responsibilities

• Filling and rotating stock to maintain full, fresh, and appealing displays.
• Keeping the Back of House organised, clean, and well-managed.
• Monitoring stock quality, dates, and rotation (FIFO).
• Maintaining excellent shelf management for accurate customer convenience.
• Providing helpful, on-the-floor customer service.
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
• Supporting the team to ensure smooth daily operations.

You’ll help customers find what they need, keep the store looking fresh and abundant, and be part of a team that loves good food and good people. No experience needed, we’ll teach you everything.
