Job summary

Head Start Delivery Coordinator role in the Wimmera South West region supports Victorian government schools by coordinating SBAT delivery and maintaining relationships with schools and SBAT employers. Based in the Jobs, Skills and Pathways team, the role requires travel across the area to ensure high-quality SBAT support and outcomes.

The position emphasizes data literacy, program coordination, stakeholder engagement and adherence to relevant department policies and child safety standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated highly developed oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate program values and objectives to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain productive relationships with Victorian government schools, School to Work providers and SBAT employers.
• Plan, monitor performance and use data to improve Head Start delivery and outcomes.
• Coordinate operational support for SBATs, ensure policy compliance and quality data input.
• Provide regular reporting and advice on Head Start activities and risks.
• Collaborate with JSPM, HSSOs and other teams to support workforce pathways.
