Tokyo Headspa is opening its flagship spa in Surry Hills and seeks a Head Spa Therapist for full-time hours. You will deliver head spa treatments, guest care, and contribute to shaping the guest experience from day one.

We offer competitive hourly pay, tips, bonuses, weekend penalties, and a generous commission program, with guaranteed hours across 8am–10pm, seven days a week, plus opportunities for career progression within a calm, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• A qualified hairdresser (Certificate IV) or massage/beauty therapist qualification.
• Experience delivering hair, massage or facial treatments in a salon, clinic or spa.
• Interest in scalp health, relaxation and Japanese wellness.
• Professional presentation and warm communication.
• Ability to perform hands-on treatments through a 6–8 hour shift.

Head Spa Therapist - Full Time - Surry Hills

• $28 - $35/per hour depending on experience + weekend penalties + tips + monthly rebooking bonuses + unlimited commission.
• Full-time 38 hours per week
• Highly accessible to public transport (metro, trains, light rail and buses 2 mins away)

We're opening our flagship spa in Surry Hills. This is our most ambitious space yet: 6 private treatment suites, a dedicated relaxation lounge, training studios and a hairstyling bar. It opens early December and we couldn't be more excited. The therapists who join now will set the standard for every guest who walks through the door, and for every spa we open after it.

About Japanese head spa

It's more than a treatment. It's a ritual of care combining scalp analysis, deep cleansing, pressure point massage, steam and deep relaxation techniques. Every step is designed to help guests unwind and leave feeling calmer, lighter and deeply cared for.

No head spa experience is required, we provide full training in our method from day one. Bring your passion for wellness, attention to detail and commitment to exceptional guest care.

Who we're looking for

• A qualified hairdresser (Certificate IV), massage therapist (Certificate or Diploma in Massage or Remedial massage), or beauty therapist (Certificate IV)
• Experience delivering hair, massage or facial treatments in a salon, clinic or spa
• An interest in scalp health, relaxation and Japanese wellness
• Professional presentation and warm and welcoming communication style
• The ability to comfortably perform hands on treatments through a 6-8 hour shift
