Job summary

Edition Hospitality Pty Ltd’s NOMAD Brisbane on James Street seeks an experienced Head Sommelier to lead our wine program for a landmark opening this Summer. You will curate a seasonal list, champion Australian producers, and work with the Group Sommelier to create memorable guest experiences.

This hands-on leadership role combines passion for wine with commercial thinking, staff development and warm hospitality. Experience with wine dinners and strong relationship-building skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Head Sommelier or Senior Sommelier in premium dining venues.
• Strong knowledge of organic, biodynamic and sustainable producers.
• Excellent food pairing knowledge and collaboration with Kitchen.
• WSET 3 or CMS preferred, or working toward them.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a considered, seasonal wine list.
• Drive iconic wine dinners and producer relationships.
• Costing, stocktakes, ordering, rostering and POS management.
• Support and develop junior team members and senior leaders.
