Job summary

TechDev in Sydney is seeking a Head of Compliance / Senior Compliance Manager to lead compliance services across a portfolio of Australian wagering clients. The role is hands-on and senior, overseeing regulatory compliance, AML/CTF, licensing, marketing compliance and governance.

You will work with TechDev's executive and client teams to ensure obligations are understood and maintained across multiple licensed operators.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in regulatory risk or financial crime.
• Knowledge of AUSTRAC obligations and Australian AML/CTF requirements.
• Experience developing and maintaining compliance frameworks, policies and controls.
• Experience interpreting legislation, regulations and regulatory guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain compliance frameworks across wagering clients.
• Oversee AML/CTF compliance, including programs, risk assessments, monitoring and reporting.
• Provide guidance on wagering legislation, licence conditions and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee responsible gambling and harm-minimisation compliance.

The successful candidate will work closely with TechDev's executive and operational teams and client businesses to ensure compliance obligations are understood, implemented and maintained across multiple licensed wagering operators.
