Job summary

Fresh Consulting, based in Brisbane, is seeking a Senior Manager, Systems Test Engineering to lead a team that develops equipment and fixtures for testing products and components. You will mentor engineers, set objectives, and allocate resources across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Collaborating with design, system, manufacturing, and software/controls engineers, you will ensure equipment meets defined specifications and drive long-term success with clear performance metrics.

Qualifications

• BS or graduate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Control Systems Engineering, or similar field. MS preferred.
• Experience leading teams developing test and process equipment.
• Extensive engineering experience with complex electro-mechanical equipment.
• Prior responsibility for validation of processes, equipment, and products.
• Ability to communicate effectively across technical disciplines with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills; able to relate to cross-functional teams.

• Build and manage a team of test engineers who develop equipment and fixtures for testing products and components.
• Mentor and train team members to support professional development.
• Set group and individual objectives, priorities, and metrics for long-term success.
• Allocate team resources across multiple projects.
• Provide technical leadership for production equipment, test fixtures, and process tools.
• Ensure requirements traceability to verify equipment meets specifications.
