Job summary

Opus Recruitment Solutions Limited in Sydney CBD NSW seeks a Head of Technology & Delivery to own a portfolio of concurrent client projects and programmes, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

You will provide leadership across project delivery, resource planning, financial performance and stakeholder management while partnering with our Head of Engineering to ensure technical excellence across the business.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in software delivery, tech consulting or professional services.
• P&L ownership including budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent client projects and programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer engagement skills.

Head of Technology & Delivery

As you will take ownership of a portfolio of concurrent client projects and programmes, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will provide leadership across project delivery, resource planning, financial performance and stakeholder management while partnering closely with our Head of Engineering to ensure technical excellence across the business.

This is a critical leadership role with significant influence across delivery, operations and commercial performance.

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will oversee a multi-disciplinary technology function comprising Project Managers, Engineering Leadership, Architecture and Engineering teams across Australia, Europe & Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of multiple concurrent client projects and programmes
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
• Establish strong governance, reporting and delivery disciplines
• Identify and mitigate delivery risks before they impact customers
• Own departmental budgeting, forecasting and financial performance

About you

• Proven leadership experience within a software delivery, technology consulting or professional services environment
