Job summary

Qantas Airways is seeking a visionary Head of Technology for Modern Airline Retailing, based at our Mascot campus in Sydney. You will shape the technology strategy across commercial systems, loyalty, revenue management, inventory and payments to meet future business needs.

Reporting to the CTO, you’ll lead multi-year transformation programs, build high-performing teams, own roadmaps and collaborate with product, platform and engineering to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions enabling dynamic

Qualifications

10+ years leading technology within airlines or travel.
Experience delivering large multi-year technology transformation programs.
Deep expertise in airline commercial systems including revenue management, pricing, inventory and distribution, offer and order management and NDC.
Hands-on experience with airline passenger service systems (PSS) and platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre and Accelya.
Bachelor’s degree; postgraduate studies in technology preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the approved technology strategy for Qantas’ commercial and retailing platforms.
Lead cross-functional teams across product, platform and engineering to deliver outcomes end-to-end.
Own roadmaps, prioritisation and management of complex tech transformations.
Recruit, coach and develop talent; influence senior business and technology stakeholders.
Partner with platform and distribution teams to ensure cost-effective delivery of digital services.
