Job summary

Qantas Group is seeking a seasoned Head of Technology for Modern Airline Retailing at our Mascot campus in Sydney. This senior role leads the technology strategy for commercial and retail platforms across pricing, inventory, PSS, and data & reporting.

You will work with product, platform, and engineering teams to deliver transformative technology investments, recruit top talent, and drive cross-functional programs in a live, dynamic airline environment.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in large, complex tech environments.
• Bachelor’s degree with postgraduate studies preferred in tech/management.
• Experience with airline commercial systems and DCP/NDc knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technology strategy for Qantas’ Modern Airline Retailing platforms.
• Own roadmaps and drive end-to-end delivery across product, platform and engineering teams.
• Partner with commercial, digital and operations to align technology with business needs.
• Recruit, coach and develop senior technology leaders and teams.
• Oversee integration of airline pricing, inventory, and distribution platforms.
• Ensure scalable, secure, and reliable technology solutions for the business.
