Job summary

Minarah College in Sydney NSW is seeking an experienced Head of Teaching and Learning – Primary to lead instructional practice, curriculum and assessment across the Primary School.

The successful candidate will partner with the Deputy Principal - Primary and Islamic Studies and Arabic departments to deliver an outstanding academic program aligned with the College's ROCKS values and Strategic Plan.

Qualifications

• Appropriate qualifications in Primary Education or related discipline.
• Current NESA accreditation or eligibility.
• Significant Primary teaching and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong instructional leadership across the Primary School and lead initiatives to improve student academic outcomes.
• Analyse student achievement data and support targeted intervention and extension programs.
• Develop and implement academic improvement priorities with evidence-based practices.
• Lead and support high-quality teaching and learning programs across the Primary School.
• Mentor and develop beginning and experienced teachers.
• Strengthen integration of Islamic ethos and Arabic language learning within the curriculum.
• Ensure alignment with NESA requirements and College expectations.
