Job summary

Nine is seeking a visionary Head of Podcasts to lead 9Podcasts across Nine and Stan properties. You will shape the digital audio strategy, oversee original content, talent, and monetisation, and drive cross-platform growth.

As a senior leader, you will manage a diverse team of producers, engineers, and strategists, balance editorial excellence with commercial viability, and steer the network toward video-first formats that engage fans and grow revenue.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in senior content leadership with P&L responsibility.
• Track record in profitable content models and sponsorships.
• Deep knowledge of end-to-end podcast production and video-first workflow.
• Strong knowledge of hosting, RSS, ad tech, and analytics platforms.
• Proven ability to recruit and manage high-profile talent.
• Strategic thinker who can lead digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the overarching digital audio strategy.
• Oversee end-to-end development of original audio and video content.
• Optimize production resources and sunsetting underperforming assets.
