Job summary

Sitemate, Sydney HQ, is seeking a Head of People Operations to architect and execute the next era of People Ops. You will own global payroll, lifecycle, TA and IT provisioning, while building AI-driven systems and playbooks that keep the team lean as we grow.

This hands-on, builder-first role shapes programs, frameworks and data-driven decisions across the company. You will lead a two-person team and collaborate closely with the CEO, Finance, Legal and department leaders to deliver scalable

Qualifications

• Experience leading People Operations through a high-growth, high-change period.
• Ability to design scalable systems, playbooks and automation first.
• Hands-on experience building automations or AI agents in People Ops.
• Collaborates with CEO, Finance and Legal to align on payroll, compensation and governance.

Responsibilities

• Own the People Operations architecture across global entities and data flows.
• Define and build AI agents and automation to reduce manual admin.
• Develop playbooks and frameworks for managers to run cycles independently.
• Shape People programs like career paths, levels, promotion policies and learning.
• Own People data metrics, reporting and confidentiality, with actionable insights.
• Lead and coach the People Operations team to deliver impact.
