Job summary

MindSpot is a leading digital mental health service within Macquarie University Health. This full-time, fixed-term leadership role based at North Ryde oversees daily operations, rostering, budgeting and governance to ensure high-performing service delivery across education, research and clinical care.

Hybrid work is offered with extension options as funding allows. You will work closely with the Executive Director and senior team, guiding two direct reports and shaping MindSpot’s operations for

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in operations, service delivery or business management within healthcare or not-for-profit sectors.
• Experience setting up performance frameworks, reporting, and using data to improve efficiency.
• Knowledge of government funding, contracts and grant management, including compliance and reporting obligations.
• Strong financial management skills including budgets, forecasting and financial controls, with procurement/technology exposure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MindSpot's operating model, including business processes, systems and operating practices.
• Provide operational oversight across MindSpot to align priorities with day-to-day operations.
• Oversee rostering, service capacity and workforce planning.
• Oversee operational requirements relating to technology, software, procurement, property, facilities and workplace infrastructure.
• Establish and monitor operational KPIs and performance frameworks.
• Ensure WHS, risk, compliance and governance requirements are met, including participation in MQ Health committees.
• Oversee MindSpot's grants, funding agreements and budgets with the MQ Health Finance Director.
• Identify and resolve operational constraints and coordinate changes for growth.
• Build relationships across Macquarie University and MQ Health to support integration across education, research and clinical services.
