Job summary

Remitly Australia, Pty Ltd is seeking a Head of Operations (Australia) to act as COO for the Australian entity, overseeing operations in Australia and the ANZ market. The role focuses on outsourcing governance, regulatory compliance, and scalable processes to support growth, with travel across the APAC region.

Based in Sydney, the candidate must meet ASIC/AUSTRAC requirements and lead a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operations in fast-paced environments.
• Proven track record managing outsourcing and vendor performance.
• Strong knowledge of ASIC and AUSTRAC requirements for regulated entities.

Responsibilities

• Own outsourcing governance, establish intercompany agreements and change management.
• Oversee outsourced service performance and KPI reporting across the Australian business.
• Drive customer experience improvements, complaints handling, and servicing standards.
• Develop and maintain business continuity and operational resilience plans.
• Prepare quarterly Board and executive reports on operations metrics.
