Remitly Australia is seeking a Head of Operations to act as Chief Operating Officer for the Australian entity, overseeing operations and regulatory compliance across ANZ. The role is based in Sydney with APAC travel, and requires satisfying ASIC and AUSTRAC requirements while driving scalable processes to support growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in fast-paced operational environments.
• Experience in tech/digital, consumer tech, fintech, banking or venture-capital contexts preferred.
• Proven ability to build and manage scale.

Responsabilités

• Own outsourcing governance and establish intercompany agreements with audit logs for ASIC/AUSTRAC.
• Oversee outsourced service performance and regulatory reporting across KPIs and service providers.
• Manage customer experience outcomes including complaints handling and ASIC RG 271 compliance.
• Develop and maintain business continuity and operational resilience arrangements.
• Deliver quarterly Board and executive reporting.
• Scale the operating model and align policies with the overall strategy.
