Job summary

Hunter Douglas is seeking an experienced manufacturing leader to take responsibility for our Sydney manufacturing, warehousing and distribution operations. This senior role requires a hands-on leader who can improve performance, lead safety, and drive value across production and logistics at the Rydalmere site.

You will report to the Head of Manufacturing, APAC and oversee national WHS management, with 4–8 direct reports across production, planning, and operations.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in manufacturing management or similar leadership.
• Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of 5S, Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methods.
• Strong financial and commercial judgement.
• Hands-on, empathetic leadership and change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing, warehousing and distribution day-to-day performance.
• Set production schedules based on demand and capacity.
• Manage costs, labour productivity, quality and on-time delivery.
• Drive continuous improvements and remove bottlenecks.
• Lead safety management and WHS compliance.
• Oversee budgeting and reporting.
• Develop and coach operational teams.
