Join us as Head of Home Care Operations and lead the next phase of our home care portfolio supporting more than 2,500 clients across metropolitan and regional South Australia.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a highly visible senior leadership role with one of South Australia’s most trusted aged care providers. As our Head of Home Care Operations, you’ll lead Helping Hand’s home care portfolio across metropolitan and regional South Australia, supporting high-quality, safe, client-centred, compliant and financially sustainable services.
Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer and working as part of the Operations Leadership Team, you’ll lead senior leaders across care management, customer engagement, clinical and non-clinical care and services, and quality and excellence.
You’ll translate strategy into action, lead the portfolio to adapt to aged care reform and strengthen the reliability and scalability of home care services. Your leadership will improve client outcomes, workforce capability, productivity, financial sustainability and growth.
You’ll bring senior-leadership experience in a complex, regulated service environment, with the confidence to lead through reform, growth, and operational change. Values-led and commercially astute, you’ll know how to balance client experience, quality, workforce outcomes and financial performance while building strong relationships and bringing people with you.

Today, we’re continuing to evolve, and this role gives you the opportunity to help shape what great home care looks like across metropolitan and regional South Australia.
You’ll be supported by a collaborative leadership team, a clear organisational purpose and the stability of an established provider, while having the autonomy to influence services, systems, culture and performance in a meaningful way.
Here’s the thing. When good people come together, amazing things happen. At Helping Hand, you’ll find real support from people who share your values and strength. They’ve been in your shoes - and they’ll always be just a phone call away to lend a helping hand.
As our Head of Home Care Operations, you’ll know you’re contributing directly to a community you care about. And you’ll see your impact in the lives of the people we support to live well at home.
In any job, how well you feel affects how well you work. And we take that very seriously. We want you to feel as secure as you can. So, we’re proud that our people say they value the stability that comes with working for a well-established, growing organisation like us.
