Job summary

Bendigo and Adelaide Bank is seeking a General Manager, Group Operational Risk to lead an enterprise-wide risk centre of expertise and partner with the CRO on the Board-level risk agenda. The role demands strategic governance, independent challenge, and delivery of the Operational Risk Management Framework and BCM across the bank.

You will sponsor major initiatives including the enterprise rollout of ServiceNow for risk management, while maintaining strong relationships with the Board Risk

Qualifications

• Led ORMF, BCM, or risk governance programs at enterprise scale.
• Engaged with Board risk committees and regulators (APRA/ASIC).
• Built high-performing risk teams across distributed geographies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ORMF, policies, and standards.
• Sponsor major risk modernisation initiatives including ServiceNow risk platform.
• Present to Board Risk Committee and regulators; provide 2LoA challenge.
