Bendigo Bank is seeking a seasoned General Manager, Group Operational Risk to lead the enterprise Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF), BCM, and major risk modernization initiatives. You will partner with the Chief Risk Officer, present to the Board Risk Committee, and influence regulators to safeguard the bank's ongoing success.

The role requires strong leadership of a national team, a bias for action, and the ability to drive risk-aware decisions while supporting commercial objectives.

Qualifikationen

• Technical Operational Risk Mastery and deep command of APRA CPS 230, FAR, and non-financial risk drivers.
• Executive Gravitas and strategic influence, with a track record engaging Board committees and regulators.
• Values-led people leadership, coaching future leaders and fostering a Speak Up culture.
• Complex program delivery of enterprise-wide risk system transformations (e.g., ServiceNow) with sustained change adoption.
• Qualifications & Accreditation: tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Law, or Risk Management; ACAI accreditation or equivalent.

Aufgaben

• Lead and mature the Group Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF), policies, and standards.
• Deliver independent 2LoA challenge and strategic advice to executives, CEO and Board.
• Oversee compliance with APRA CPS 230 and related standards; ensure regulatory accountability.
• Direct BCM, disaster recovery programs, Major Incident Plan, and crisis response protocols.
• Sponsor and deliver risk systems modernisation like ServiceNow and embedded analytics.
