Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Director of Event Technology to lead our onsite and venue partnerships, ensuring flawless staging, safety and high service standards across hybrid and in‑person events. You will coordinate between our dedicated onsite team and venue management, guide AV choices, crew rosters and cost control, and oversee P&L to maximise profitability.

The role values extensive events and AV experience, strong leadership, client relationship skills and a hospitality or events

Qualifications

• Experience in events and sales environments.
• Hands-on AV experience and knowledge of equipment choices.
• Strong planning, organisational, time management and account management skills.
• Proven track record in leading sales teams within venues and driving business results.
• Ability to build meaningful client relationships and partnerships.
• Experience rostering and cost management in event operations.
• Hospitality or events qualification is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and safe running of event staging services within venues.
• Build and maintain relationships with venues and clients for successful events.
• Educate clients and venue staff on AV options, digital solutions and crew requirements.
• Manage crew rosters and schedules.
• Flag and address issues with equipment, crew or staff promptly.
• Identify opportunities to increase venue profitability.
• Seek operational improvements and mentor team members.
