Private Advertiser seeks a senior data leader to own and evolve our data strategy, technology direction and team development in Sydney. This is a senior leadership role with scope to shape how data drives business outcomes across the organisation.

You will influence executives, translate data investments into commercial value and lead cross‑functional teams to raise data maturity and impact. A pragmatic, results‑driven leader is essential to succeed.

• Leading and developing teams across data engineering, analytics and associated capabilities.
• Driving improvements to our data platforms, architecture and overall technical maturity.

• Working directly with executives to identify opportunities where data can improve business performance.
• Overseeing delivery of strategic data initiatives and transformation programmes.
• Supporting the adoption of advanced analytics, automation and AI where commercially appropriate.
• Building a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

We're entering an exciting phase in the evolution of our data capabilities and are looking for a Head of Data to take ownership of our data strategy, technology direction and team development.

This is a senior leadership role with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the business.

We need someone who understands how to build a successful data function, can engage confidently with senior leadership and knows how to translate data investment into tangible commercial outcomes.

Your Remit

You’ll be responsible for establishing a clear vision for data and ensuring the right people, platforms and processes are in place to deliver it.
