Private Advertiser is seeking an accomplished Head of Enterprise Data & AI to shape a multi-year strategy and drive measurable business outcomes in Australia. Reporting to the CTO, you will lead data governance, analytics, BI, data engineering and AI initiatives across the organisation.

A respected mid-sized super fund is seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking leader to shape and execute an enterprise-wide data and AI strategy that drives better decision-making, operational excellence and meaningful customer outcomes.

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, this senior leadership role is responsible for leading and maturing a modern, trusted and scalable data and AI capability across the organisation. You will lead enterprise data strategy, governance, analytics, business intelligence, data engineering and artificial intelligence initiatives, ensuring data and AI are leveraged responsibly, effectively and in line with regulatory obligations.

About the Role

As Head of Enterprise Data & AI, you will:

Define and execute a multi-year enterprise Data & AI strategy and roadmap aligned to organisational priorities.

Lead the development of modern data, analytics and AI capabilities that enable informed decision-making and measurable business outcomes.

Set enterprise-wide standards and priorities for reporting and analytics, reducing duplication and ensuring consistent, trusted insights.

Partner with executives & business leaders to lead the shift from fragmented reporting to streamlined, trusted insights, enabling faster decision-making and improved organisational performance.

Establish and embed robust data governance practices, including data quality, ownership, stewardship, privacy and ethical use.

Establish a business-partnering model that encourages recommendations and turns strategic priorities into impactful reporting, insights and AI initiatives.Oversee enterprise data architecture, platforms, engineering, reporting and analytics capabilities.

Drive the adoption of responsible AI through effective governance, risk management and delivery frameworks.

Provide trusted strategic advice to senior executives on data and AI opportunities, risks, investments and priorities.

Build and lead a high-performing multidisciplinary team spanning data, analytics and AI disciplines.

Ensure appropriate oversight of risk, controls, resilience, suppliers and operational performance across the function.

About You

You are a strategic and commercially minded leader who combines strong technical credibility with strong stakeholder engagement skills. You have successfully led enterprise data and AI functions and know how to balance innovation with governance, risk management and business value.

You will bring:

Extensive senior leadership experience across enterprise data, analytics and AI functions.

Proven success developing and executing enterprise data strategies, operating models and transformation roadmaps.

Deep expertise in data governance, data management, analytics, business intelligence and modern data platforms.

Strong understanding of data architecture, engineering, cloud-based data ecosystems and AI technologies.

Experience establishing and scaling responsible AI practices and governance frameworks.

A track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and building sustainable capability.

Strong commercial judgement, executive communication and influencing skills.

Experience operating in a regulated, complex or highly accountable environment.

The ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business, customer and risk outcomes.

Financial services, superannuation, insurance or other highly regulated industry experience.

Exposure to prudential and regulatory frameworks governing operational resilience, information security and risk management.

Experience with Microsoft data and AI technologies, Power BI, cloud data platforms and CRM ecosystems.

Experience leading large-scale governance uplift, platform modernisation or enterprise AI adoption programs.
