Job summary

Aboriginal Health Council of South Australia invites applications for a Manager, Clinical Education & Student Experience. The role provides strategic and operational leadership for AHCSA's education delivery and learner experience, ensuring culturally safe vocational education and strong workforce development across the Aboriginal health sector.

Leading a multidisciplinary team, you will drive continuous improvement, oversee governance, and collaborate with sector partners to align education

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience within vocational education, higher education or workforce development.
• Strong understanding of Aboriginal community contexts and culturally safe practice within Aboriginal Community‑Controlled organisations.
• Experience leading education delivery within a Registered Training Organisation or comparable regulated environment.
• Experience developing and implementing operational policies, procedures and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the delivery of high-quality, culturally safe vocational education and training across the RTO.
• Lead the development and implementation of innovative learning, assessment and student support practices that enhance learner engagement, retention and success.
• Ensure compliance with ASQA, AHPRA and relevant VET standards, maintaining excellence in educational quality and assessment integrity.
• Drive continuous improvement through performance monitoring, stakeholder feedback, industry engagement and evidence-based practice.
• Strengthen workforce pathways by building partnerships with employers, industry and community stakeholders to support employment outcomes for Aboriginal learners.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of educators and student support staff through coaching, mentoring and capability development.
• Contribute to organisational strategy, policy development, operational planning and resource management to achieve educational and business objectives.
• Foster a positive, inclusive and culturally safe learning and workplace environment that supports student and staff success.
