Job summary

Jetstar is seeking a Manager, Crewing & Recovery to lead the Crewing and Training Recovery functions across Flying Operations and Cabin Crew. Based at the Jetstar Headquarters in Docklands, Melbourne, you will ensure rosters are efficiently resourced and delivered in line with policy.

You will lead the crewing and training recovery teams, oversee third-party support (travel, accommodation, transport) and manage crew training, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in airline operations.
• 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Business or Aviation degree, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong experience building and managing relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to drive business performance and deliver results.
• Experience delivering programs and cross-functional initiatives in complex environments.
• Strong negotiation, communication, organisational and influencing skills at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Crewing & Recovery team to deliver optimal rostering outcomes.
• Oversee all crewing-related third-party support, including travel, accommodation and transport.
• Oversee onshore and offshore crew training, checking and development.
• Monitor crew compliance with industrial, regulatory and company requirements.
• Develop training for Crewing and Training Recovery Officers balancing delivery with operations.
• Partner with internal and external training providers to resolve escalations.
• Identify opportunities to improve roster planning and delivery while controlling costs.
