Job summary

Jetstar Airways is seeking a seasoned Manager, Crewing & Recovery to lead Crewing and Training Recovery across Flying Operations and Cabin Crew. Based at Jetstar Headquarters in Docklands, you’ll drive workforce planning from roster publication to day-of-operations delivery and oversee third-party support including travel and accommodation.

You’ll manage a high-performing team, partner with senior stakeholders, and optimize rosters, training and safety compliance in a complex, fast-paced

Qualifications

7+ years in airline operations with leadership experience.
Strong negotiation, communication and influencing skills.
Experience building relationships with senior stakeholders.
Proven ability to drive performance and results.

Responsibilities

Lead crewing and training recovery teams to ensure optimal rostering and safety compliance.
Oversee third-party support including duty travel, accommodation and transport.
Balance workforce, training and operational requirements across Flying Operations and Cabin Crew.
Develop training for Crewing Recovery Officers balancing delivery with day-of-operations needs.
Identify roster planning improvements and manage expenditure up to $100 million annually.
