Job summary

Beyond Bank Australia seeks a Head of Member Credit Assessment to steer the strategy, governance and performance of the credit decisioning function for consumer and business lending across the national network.

You will shape lending policy, leverage portfolio analytics and drive continuous improvement in risk management, customer outcomes and operational efficiency while maintaining regulatory compliance and strong governance.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience in credit risk, lending, credit assessment or banking operations within a regulated financial services environment.
• Deep expertise across consumer, commercial and business lending, including credit assessment and risk management practices.
• Strong understanding of FAR obligations and executive governance responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the credit assessment function across consumer and business lending with high-quality decisions.
• Drive governance, policy, and decisioning frameworks to improve quality and efficiency.
• Develop and inspire a high-performing team with coaching and capability uplift.
