Job summary

Beyond Bank Australia is seeking a Head of Member Credit Assessment to lead the strategic direction, governance and performance of our credit assessment function across consumer and business lending. Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience in credit risk, lending or banking operations within a regulated financial services environment.
• Deep expertise across consumer and business lending, with strong credit risk management and prudent risk practices.
• Strong understanding of FAR obligations, accountability frameworks and executive governance responsibilities.
• Experience influencing lending strategy, credit policy and decisioning frameworks.
• Extensive knowledge of NCCP, APRA prudential standards, ASIC expectations, AML/CTF obligations and responsible lending requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead Beyond Bank's credit assessment function across consumer and business lending with high-quality, consistent credit decisions.
• Ensure governance, controls and escalation processes under FAR are in place and effective.
• Drive policy, assessment standards, decisioning frameworks and operational processes to improve quality and efficiency.
• Shape credit governance, delegation frameworks and lending controls for regulatory compliance and best practice.
• Develop and inspire a high-performing team; use data-driven insights to optimise credit outcomes and growth.
