Job summary

Peninsula is seeking a seasoned Head of Compliance & Risk to design, implement and continuously improve our compliance program and risk frameworks. You will focus on sales and marketing processes, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and driving a culture of compliance across the organisation.

You will lead and develop a high-performing team, engage stakeholders, and report to the Board on compliance adherence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading compliance teams
• 5+ years in a compliance role

As Head of Compliance & Risk, you will lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of Peninsula’s compliance program and risk frameworks, with a strong focus on sales and marketing processes. This role is critical in ensuring that customer acquisition, promotional practices and go-to-market strategies are in alignment with regulatory requirements.

What will you be doing?

• Lead and upskill the Compliance and Risk team whilst ensuring the timely completion of all compliance and risk tasks and reporting.
• Proactively engage with stakeholders and business units to develop a strong compliance and risk culture and develop initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
• Develop, uplift and embed compliance and risk frameworks across the broader organisation.
• Facilitate compliance and risk workshops and training sessions.
• Report to the Board on adherence to Compliance processes.

What will you bring?

• 3+ years experience in leading, managing and developing compliance teams
• 5+ years in a Compliance role
• An ability to be both strategic and hands-on in delivering objectives
• Extensive experience developing, embedding and advising on compliance and risk obligations, processes & control
• Well-developed interpersonal skills, with an ability to build trust and establish strong relationships across disciplines.
• A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to demonstrate high levels of initiative
