Job summary

Telstra Corporation in Australia seeks a Group Owner, Cloud AI Infrastructure Services to lead strategy, roadmaps and operating model for AI infrastructure, including GPUs, accelerators, cloud AI services and self-hosted model infra. You will ensure security, resilience, low latency and cost efficiency while delivering trusted as-a-service capabilities.

You will build and lead a multidisciplinary team, embed DevSecOps and IaC, govern AI policy, and manage capacity, supplier risk and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale AI infrastructure and platform engineering initiatives.
• Ability to translate enterprise demand into prioritised roadmaps and investment cases.
• Strong governance, security, resilience and risk management practices.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategy, roadmap and operating model for Cloud AI Infrastructure Services.
• Own AI infrastructure product portfolio across GPUs, accelerators, storage, networking, cloud and self-hosted deployments.
• Lead secure, observable, cost-efficient AI infrastructure that meets sovereignty and data protection guardrails.
• Build and lead a multidisciplinary team focused on developer experience and platform reuse.
